Our Solutions

Our Approach To Your Challenges

At TRXData we approach client engagements with the utmost sensitivity towards existing (legacy)
processes.  Frankly, there’s a reason why companies do what they do and how they do it.  Therefore, we do
not advocate wholesale changes if none are urgently needed immediately.  While implementing wholesale
or drastic changes to existing processes can often times prove beneficial, it is fraught with tremendous risk
and high cost, especially if they are implemented immediately at the beginning of the service contract.

TRXData’s approach is simple: deliver cost savings and efficiency gains throughout the course of the
relationship, not just up front in the beginning.  Our approach entails an evolutionary change to existing
processes, not a revolutionary change as is common with most BPO service providers.

In this manner, TRXData is able to mitigate the risks associated with transitioning existing legacy
processes while delivering the substantial cost-savings and efficiency gains that are the reasons why
companies will outsource their back-office processes.

Nevertheless, and despite our focus on risk mitigation, we are able to provide our clients with substantial
cost savings at the beginning of a service engagement – cost savings that are upwards of 75% over
existing legacy processes.

Customized Solutions

TRXData provides unique and customized solutions for each client.  We do not adhere to the philosophy of
“one-size-fits-all” in order to render cost savings or productivity gains.  Recognizing that no two clients, even
from the same industry, have the same requirements, we custom-tailor our solutions so that they are as
unique as are each of our clients.

We perform a comprehensive analysis of each client’s back-office operations and then, working with the
client, we compile a solution that addresses each major component: people, process, technology, and
facilities.

Finally, we service each client with a dedicated team of managers, processors and support infrastructure.
Our client-assigned resources are dedicated to the client – we do not leverage multiple clients across the
same resources.  This ensures that each client benefits from a team that is dedicated and is thoroughly
familiar with all of the nuances of the client’s operations.

On-Shore vs. Off-Shore

There is a myth – and make no mistake, it is a myth – that sending work off-shore will always result in
substantial cost savings as a result of the vastly lower labor rates in certain geographical regions.

On its face, off-shore labor rates are vastly lower than comparable labor rates found on-shore.
Unfortunately, most BPO service providers will use – and rely – on the labor-rate differential only to tout their
cost-savings abilities.  Moreover, their client companies will all-too-easily fall for the undeniably enticing
cost savings available through the disparity in off-shore labor rates.

Recent studies have shown that when all costs associated with transitioning client operations off-shore are
factored in, the cost-savings benefit of off-shore labor is drastically reduced so that in some instances the
overall costs of the service are just slightly lower then if the work had remained on shore.  In some
instances the costs are actually higher.  The problem is that most BPO providers simply do not take into
consideration many factors associated with performing work from an off-shore location.  These factors
include different cultures, customs, attitudes, and language — all of which have a large “hidden cost”
associated with them.

There are in fact very specific and defined client processes and situations that can benefit from off-shore
labor.  However, not all processes are ideal for sending off-shore and that is where most BPO providers
come up short.

TRXData looks at each client individually and has proprietary tools for identifying which processes can
benefit from being sent to TRXData’s facilities off-shore as well as those that should remain at TRXData’s
facilities on-shore.  It is TRXData’s way of identifying the “right shore” for each individual client process.

Technology

In a nutshell, TRXData is technology agnostic.  We do not propose nor advocate one technology standard or
platform over another.  This approach ensures we remain flexible and provide the solution that is best for
our client.  This also allows clients who have a substantial capital investment in existing technologies to
continue leveraging that investment.

TRXData does not advocate the use of proprietary technologies like many BPO providers do.  While some
proprietary technologies may provide some unique benefit or “value-add”, most require customization in
order to conform to a client’s processes or requirements.  Not only does customization entail additional
costs and time, but it also entails risk because of the uncertainty of a smooth integration.

Proprietary technology also has another major drawback: in the event a client decides to take the
processes back in-house, a suitable replacement technology will have to be found.  This will only add
additional costs (not to mention risks) to the overall outsourced client operation.

At TRXData we believe that the best technology solutions are the most common solutions.  The use of
commercial off-the-shelf technologies ensures that our clients have access to state-of-the-art capabilities
while minimizing costs and their exposure to risk.  It also ensures our clients will always have access to a
deep pool of independent experts that will always be able to service their technology needs.
